34% of your VoP results need resolution. Here is the layer that resolves them.

VoP went live Oct 2025. 34% of French-market results lack resolution. No standard tool. No audit trail. sikker.me resolves both — registry-authoritative, under 3 seconds.

The compliance gap

Every unresolved grey-zone result is undocumented.

Under Regulation 2024/886, Article 5c(9), a PSP that executes on a no-match result without notifying the payer and documenting the decision loses the PSD2 liability shield for consumer-initiated SEPA transfers. For B2B payments, the risk is a compliance documentation burden: every grey-zone result requires a documented decision before execution. No standard tool provides that documentation. Every unresolved result is an open gap in your audit trail. 34% of your volume is too much to leave undocumented. You need a resolution tool. Not a hold queue. sikker.me queries the official government registry and returns a source-cited verdict in under three seconds. The grey zone is resolved. The payment proceeds or is held — with a documented basis either way.

EBA findings

The EBA called this the leading pain point in September 2025.

The EBA Practitioners Group (20 institutions, 12 countries) published a paper in September 2025 identifying the root causes:

"There is no market-wide standard specifying which data should be used for the VoP check. Every PSP may have a different approach."

Common causes of false close-match and no-match:

  • Trade name ≠ legal name (Müller Elektroanlagen vs. Müller GmbH)
  • Legal form abbreviation (GmbH vs. full legal form)
  • Name truncation (SCT Inst 70-char limit vs. 140-char legal name)
  • Diacritics handled inconsistently across PSP systems
  • Virtual IBANs — sub-accounts returning different holder names

None of these are fraud. All of them need resolution. sikker.me resolves them with a registry lookup.

What we provide

The VoP resolution layer. Nothing more. Nothing less.

  • Close-match resolution — registry confirms or contradicts
  • Unable-to-verify triage — registry lookup in < 3 seconds
  • Full audit trail — liability documentation for every result
  • Continuous monitoring — alert before the next payment runs
  • Registry-sourced records — exportable, audit-defensible, AMLR-ready
  • Single API endpoint — POST /v1/verify — no workflow change
